The term cairn refers to a stack of deliberated balanced stones. They have been used since prehistoric times as landmarks and burial markers, in ceremonies and celebrations, and as objects of prayer and peace. We encourage you to find your own interpretation of these simple yet elegant memorial sculptures.
Each piece of art is carefully crafted by hand in our studio, without the use of molds. For that reason, your sculpture will be uniquely yours, and will differ from the exact sculptures pictured here.
These glass cairns are made of individual hollow glass stones that are permanently fused together during the sculpting process. Each stone is infused with cremation ashes, which are visible in a spiral stripe around each stone. Each of the three stones will be differing shades of gray and sand tones.
Each sculpture is approximately 5-6” tall.
